Russian clients tend to have a shorter investment horizon and are likely to treat even a one-year investment lock-up with suspicion.

That’s according to Michael Borisov, chief investment officer and portfolio manager at LEON multi-family office, who has adjusted his portfolios accordingly to meet client demand.  

Also in this video, Borisov explained why he moved away from equity long/short portfolios and what kind of advice he would give fund selectors who start their career in Russia.
