Credit Suisse has appointed Alexandre Bouchardy as head of asset management investment strategy for Switzerland and EMEA.
As part of his new role he will become a member of the Credit Suisse global investment committee and will chair asset allocation committee Switzerland & EMEA.
Bouchardy will be in charge of the investment strategy for the region and aligning it with the global house view of Credit Suisse.
His responsibilities will also include expanding solutions for clients and strengthening relationship with international and Swiss investors. In addition he will aim to strengthen collaboration across asset classes and reinforce the firm’s relationship with distribution partners across the bank.
Most recently Bouchardy was based in Singapore, where he has built the Asian fixed income franchise over the last seven years.
He will be based in Zurich and will report to René Küffer, head of balanced solutions, and to Michel Degen, head of asset management Switzerland & EMEA.
