ABN Amro's former head of manager research Olivier Couvreur has joined the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
Couvreur has started in his new role at the sovereign wealth fund as head of EMEA in the external equities department. He reports to the global head of external equities, Brian Tipple.
A spokesperson at the group confirmed his arrival and it is understood that he is based at the ADIA headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
He has joined the sovereign wealth fund, which invests on behalf of the government of Abu Dhabi, less than a month after leaving Dutch group ABN Amro, where he spent 15 years.
